oval collage plate - patchwork

Oval serving plate. Unique patchwork-like surface is created by using various clay bodies and different pottery techniques. I am always like the textures of fabric, so I use the technique called nerikomi to create unique weaving patterns, and then adding the marks by carving and stamping on surface to make each piece a unique existence.

*high fire to cone 10 in the gas kiln.

All the items are food, microwave safe. Dishwasher safe but handwashing recommended.
